Racine Case finished the regular season unbeaten in conference play on Friday, beating Kenosha Indian Trail 42-0 on the road in Kenosha.

The win gave Case a 7-0 record in the Southeast Conference and a seven-game winning streak heading into the playoffs. It is the school's first outright conference title since 1980, when Case played in the South Shore Conference, and its first conference title in the Southeast Conference since joining that league in 1993. Case last shared a conference title in 1987.

After a scoreless first quarter, Case scored 21 points in the second quarter. Quarterback Jayson Jefferson opened the scoring on a 1-yard run, Morell Jackson added a touchdown after a long punt return by Zadari Simpson set Case up at the 5-yard line, and Jackson scored again from 1 yard after Simpson took a possible big catch away from an Indian Trail receiver.

Case kept scoring after halftime. Jefferson threw a 41-yard touchdown to freshman Amare Ozier, then a 37-yard touchdown to Tolan Johnson, a score that started a running clock.

The Case defense, led by seniors Erik Ynnocencio and London Hadley, shut out an Indian Trail team that came in on a five-game winning streak. Hawks quarterback Joel Perez faced pressure throughout the night.

Coach Anton Graham credited his seniors for leading the turnaround after an Aug. 28 loss to Sussex Hamilton, the Eagles' only defeat before the winning streak. Jackson finished the regular season as one of the state's most productive backs, with 1,319 rushing yards in seven games counted through Week 8 and 20 total touchdowns. Case now turns its attention to the postseason.
